Theseus is an AI communication coach. You have conversations with an AI coach that helps you train and improve how you communicate — practicing skills like active listening, assertiveness, handling conflict, and storytelling over time.
Theseus is operated by Liquet Technologies Inc. Any reference to "Liquet Tech" in this Privacy Policy means Liquet Technologies Inc.
We do not collect your name, phone number, location, contacts, or any device identifiers.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.
Your messages are processed by Claude, an AI made by Anthropic (anthropic.com). Messages are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.
Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure located in the United States.
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from the Settings screen in the app. This permanently deletes all your conversations, insights, and account data within 30 days.
We use the following third-party services to operate the app. Each has its own privacy policy and we are not responsible for their data practices:
We implement reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including AES-256 encryption of conversation content at rest. However, no system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security measures. You use the service at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any unauthorized access to, disclosure of, or loss of your data.
You can reset all your communication-skills data at any time from Settings → Reset My Data, delete your account and all associated data from Settings → Delete Account, or request a copy of your data by contacting us at the email below. We will respond to valid data requests within a reasonable time, subject to applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Liquet Tech shall not be liable for any damages arising from unauthorized access to your data, data loss, service interruptions, or any other privacy-related incident. Our privacy practices are provided on a best-efforts basis without warranty of any kind.
We may update this policy at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We are not obligated to notify you of changes, though we will attempt to do so for material changes through the app.
