Theseus is an AI communication coach and communication-skills practice app for educational and personal-development purposes only. It is expressly not a medical service, mental health treatment, psychological therapy, crisis intervention service, or any form of professional advice. Nothing the app produces — including any AI-generated observations, communication-skill scores, or insights — constitutes a clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment recommendation of any kind.
The AI has no professional qualifications. Its outputs are generated by a language model and may be inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or entirely wrong. You should not make any significant life decisions based on anything the app tells you.

You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.
You agree not to use the app to generate harmful, abusive, illegal, or harassing content; to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the app or its underlying AI systems; to impersonate any person or entity; or to use the app in any manner that violates any applicable local, provincial, national, or international law or regulation.
Paid subscriptions are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. We have no control over, and accept no liability for, any billing errors, failed charges, or disputes arising from Apple's payment processing. Refunds are governed solely by Apple's refund policy. We do not issue refunds directly.
You retain ownership of the content you submit. By using Theseus, you grant Liquet Tech a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to process, store, and use your content solely to operate and improve the service. We do not sell your content to third parties.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR LIABILITY. TO THE EXTENT SUCH LAWS APPLY, SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU, BUT SHALL APPLY TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Liquet Tech and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or relating to: your use of the app; your violation of these terms; your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; or any content you submit through the service.
Theseus uses third-party services including Anthropic (AI processing) and Apple (payments and distribution). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of any third-party service provider. Your use of the service is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
We do not guarantee that the service will be available at any particular time or location. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue the service at any time without notice and without liability to you.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of Theseus shall first be attempted to be resolved through informal negotiation. You agree to contact us at reports@liquettech.com before initiating any formal legal proceeding. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on an individual basis. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Liquet Tech.
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Liquet Tech regarding your use of Theseus and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
